You remove a few matches from a box and stand the box cover in an upright position. Atop this cover, you place one of the matches so that it lies across the box cover and overhangs the edges. Taking a second match, you begin to carefully rub the head on the table. Then slowly bringing the head of that match close to the head of the match atop the box cover, suddenly with a pop, the balanced match jumps wildly into the air, as if propelled by a jolt of electricity. Card Box SetVersatile set of gimmicked card boxes!
This is a pair of card boxes, hand-crafted in Black Walnut. Both are gimmicked, but each in a different way. One box is a standard locking flap card box. Alone, this box can be used to make cards appear, vanish or change. The other box is designed to make an entire deck of cards apparently vanish, or change into something else, candy, jewelry, money, etc. The beauty is how these two boxes may be used together. The routine possibilities are many, but here is a basic idea... Two boxes are on display, one holding a red deck, the other a blue deck. One deck (let's say the red deck) is closed in its box and set aside for a moment. From the blue deck, a card is selected. This card is then closed in the remaining box. A classic effect with an executive touch! A six-sided Black Walnut cube is shown. Each side has a different color inlaid disc. Spectator places the cube into a small Mahogany box, remembering which color is on top, and then covers the box with the lid. Magician takes the sealed box and is able to determine the chosen color!

The Spider Box!
Here is a wonderful trick for Halloween, or whenever you want to spread around a little arachnophobia!! Effect: You show the spider box, claiming to have a very large, but very well-trained spider inside. A card is selected and returned to a deck. The deck is placed into the spider box, and on your command, the lid slowly opens, and the selected card rises up, being pushed up by icky, hairy spider legs!! You may even have several cards selected, and as the first is removed, each of the other cards will rise similarly. This is very nicely made, and has very cool graphics!! The trick is positively creepy!! You may also, if you desire, begin this before having a card selected, by talking about the spider, and as you do so, the lid is slowly opening with the spider's legs becoming visible. "Peek" Die BoxNot your standard Die Box!Hand-crafted by Michael Baker.
Similar to the classic Sucker Sliding Die Box, the "Peek" Die Box has some unique features that make it really different! A large white die is placed into the box, and the usual antics take place. The audience can hear the die sliding back and forth in the cabinet with a loud clunk. The die continues to elude the audience and the magician. That is until someone spots the die hiding in the other side. Of course, you the magician have allowed them to "accidentally" peek at the die! Ultimately, the die vanishes completely and reappears elsewhere! Unlike other more common Die Boxes, the "Peek" Die Box has no center wall, no sliding weight, and no double doors! In fact if you wanted to, you could pass the box for examination at the beginning of the trick! There is nothing to find. Model shown is the 3 inch version with classic design colors. The Wonderful Tea Chest Mystery - Oriental Nest of BoxesA beautiful piece of magic apparatus that will become a feature in your show, and a prize among your collectibles!This is one of only 4 sets made. A borrowed ring, marked coin, etc. is vanished and found in the innermost of a nested set of four beautiful boxes. 
Not only is this probably the most gorgeous set of boxes you've ever seen, detailed both inside and out, this set is probably one of the most efficient and practical sets ever made. While it should not be performed completely surrounded, the performing angles are MUCH better than many other sets, including the popular Berg style, Gerlitz's Butterfly Boxes, etc. There are no bottomless boxes, and no separated pieces that must be joined or nested during the process. Issues that cause fumbling with other sets have been addressed, so the loading of the ring is fast and accurate. The first three boxes have brass catches and satin ribbon ties attached to the box by special brass hardware made especially for these boxes. There are no loose ribbons to lose. The smallest box is locked with a small brass padlock and hasp. It has a ribbon attached to it that is used to lift the box fairly from the box it is in. The spectator may unlock this box. Each box has a different color combination, and image transfers have been specially designed and applied for a stunning appearance. This set is truly a work of art. Included are complete instructions and a gimmicked satin brocade cloth for vanishing the ring. Also included is a duplicate ring that may be used for rehearsal. This will be a rare and desirable set. Oriental Watch Box
A beautiful utility box to be used to vanish a borrowed watch. A borrowed watch is placed into the box and the lid secured. You are immediately able to steal the watch out. The box has a built-in rattle device that allows you to create the sound of the poor watch being banged around inside, as you apparently convince its owner that it is still safe inside. Much comedy can come from this. The rattle may be immediately silenced at any time, as you seem to cause the watch to vanish from the box.  Beautiful classic effect and design! The effect is simple and self-contained. A block with a hole through the center is placed into the square tube where it can be seen thru two large holes, one on either side of the tube. A wand is run through smaller holes in the sides, and simultaneously through the block, effectively locking the block in place inside the tube. Visibly, the block drops from the tube, apparently penetrating the wand, which can still clearly be seen through the larger holes in the tube. Entirely self-contained. Each of your 4 guesses are wrong, and each time, the wrong selections are placed into a wooden frame. After the last failure, you sheepishly place a FOR SALE sign in front of the frame. You ask the spectator what their card was. When you remove the sign, the four wrong selections now show as a jumbo card that matches the selected card! Wow! What a nice piece this is!! Hand-crafted from Exotic Makore (African Cherry), and finished with hand-rubbed Tung Oil, this is a true combination of art and magic!! The box is large, approximately 12x7x6 inches. It features ornamental feet, quite different than any other drawer box you are likely to find, and a handsome antique brass handle. The mechanism is smooth and reliable, including a magnetic lock that insures the insert does not accidentally separate from the drawer at the wrong time, but easily releases when you want it to. There is also an inside cleat that prevents the drawer from accidentally being pulled completely out of the cabinet. This is a table, or desk top accessory with a huge load capacity.
